Radical Left Democrat Hidin’ Ghazala Hashmi continues to do everything in her power to avoid Republican Lt. Gov. nominee John Reid and facing ANY tough questions from the media.
Hidin’ Hashmi hosted a “roundtable discussion” this morning where attendees had to send a special RSVP request to find out the location.
Why all the secrecy?
Because Hashmi and her flailing campaign were TERRIFIED that John Reid would show up and ask her the tough questions that she has been running from her entire campaign.
John Reid has proposed TEN debates – Hidin’ Hashmi has agreed to ZERO. Now John Reid is even offering to show up to Hashmi’s events to get some answers about where she stands on key issues like protecting girls’ sports. But instead, Hashmi is now making events “invite only” to avoid facing him!
This is not how a leader behaves – Virginians deserve politicians who are accessible to the media and the public and are not afraid to answer tough questions. John Reid has answered countless questions from an openly hostile media without flinching. Meanwhile Hashmi won’t even talk with everyday Virginians unless they’ve been screened by her campaign first before being sent to a “secret” location!
Even more embarassingly, Hashmi couldn’t even muster up more than three other people for her “roundtable.” See for yourself:
Here are some questions you DIDN’T hear during the roundtable that Hidin’ Hashmi must answer:
WHY did Ghazala Hashmi support keeping schools closed indefinitely and masking children even after the COVID-19 threat had subsided?
WHY has Ghazala Hashmi not taken any responsibility for student learning loss in Virginia during the pandemic?
WHY does Ghazala Hashmi support allowing males to compete on girls’ sports teams and use female restrooms and locker rooms when the vast majority of Virginia parents opposed those policies?
WHY has Ghazala Hashmi refused to debate John Reid?
WHY does Ghazala Hashmi not regularly invite press to her events?
Virginians deserve answers. But all they get from Hidin’ Hashmi is silence. John Reid is the leader Virginia deserves to have a “heartbeat away” from the governor’s mansion. He is honest, fair, and the “common sense” candidate.
